Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Under The Influence, run by Matej Pribanić, Croatia ("we"). By using the app you accept them. On iPhone, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies to the app; where these terms and Apple's EULA differ, these terms apply to the extent the law allows. On Android, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your purchase.
Who can play
You must be at least 18 and of legal drinking age where you live. If you're not, please don't use the app.
Play responsibly
Under The Influence is a party game. The cards are suggestions, never instructions.
- Any drink works. Water, soda and mocktails count.
- Nobody ever has to drink. Skipping a card is always allowed, and so is stopping.
- Know your limits, look after your friends, and never drink and drive.
- Only do a dare if everyone involved is comfortable with it. Respect a no.
- Don't play if you're pregnant, on medication that doesn't mix with alcohol, or have been told not to drink.
You decide what you drink and do. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for what happens while you play, including how much anyone drinks. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
Top Shelf subscription
Top Shelf unlocks every spicy category, every full card library and future packs. It's an auto-renewable subscription, weekly, monthly or yearly, at the price shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID (iPhone) or Google account (Android) when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Manage or cancel anytime: on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android in the Google Play Store app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Top Shelf until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by the store you bought from under its refund policy: Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, Google through your Google Play order history (play.google.com/store/account). If you can't get help there, email us.
- Restore your purchase on a new phone with Settings → Restore Purchases in the app, signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account.
Cards and your own prompts
The cards and the app belong to us. You may use them for your own games, not copy or resell them. We add, change and remove cards over time. Custom prompts you write are yours; don't write anything illegal, hateful or about real people without their consent. Custom prompts stay on your phone (see the Privacy Policy).
Changes and ending
We may update the app and these terms. If a change matters, we'll point it out in the app. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it; remember to cancel your subscription in the App Store or Google Play too.
Law
Croatian law applies, without taking away the protection you get from the consumer laws of the country you live in.
